The connector is designed to form the turn of the mesh tray in the horizontal plane. After cutting a part of the sector (or several sectors, one at a time, depending on the desired angle of rotation) on the mesh tray, this connector fixes the side part instead of the cut out sector, and thus forms the angle of rotation of the mesh tray.
The approximate value of the angle of rotation is 90 0 for mesh trays:
