Purpose
The S/FTP Category 6A cable is designed for high-speed structured cabling systems and local area networks. It is intended for fixed indoor installation in buildings, stations, facilities, and equipment in environments with increased electromagnetic interference.
The cable supports Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, 2.5GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, 10GBASE-T, HDBaseT, as well as PoE, PoE+, and PoE++ power delivery technologies. It is designed for operation at frequencies up to 500 MHz. [
Description
CMS-SF6AO-ID5BL is a shielded S/FTP Category 6A twisted-pair cable with 23AWG copper conductors. Each twisted pair is individually shielded with Al/PET foil, while the overall shield consists of a tinned copper braid with 31% coverage.
The outer jacket is made of LSZH material and has a nominal cable diameter of 7.0 mm. The cable complies with CPR class Dca requirements. Jacket color: blue.
Construction
- Conductor: soft copper wire, AWG23, Ø 0.55 mm.
- Insulation: Skin-Foam-Skin HDPE, Ø 1.35 mm.
- Pair: two conductors twisted together.
- Pair colors: white/blue; white/orange; white/green; white/brown.
- Pair shielding: individual Al/PET foil, metal side facing outward.
- Core wrapping: PET film.
- Overall shield: tinned copper braid, 31% coverage.
- Jacket: LSZH, 0.5 mm thickness, nominal cable Ø 7.0 mm, blue.
