The U/UTP Cat 6A patch cord is designed for connecting RJ-45 ports in patch panels, servers, and switches, and is an integral part of a structured cabling system (SCS). It consists of a cable with eight copper conductors with a cross-section of 0.41 mm (26 AWG) and two RJ-45 connectors. The twisted-pair jacket and connector protective cap are made of PVC, and the eight conductors of the cable are unshielded with foil.
