It is an integral part of a structured cabling system (SCS). It consists of a cable with 8 copper conductors (32 AWG) and two RJ-45 connectors. The twisted-pair jacket and connector protective cap are made of PVC, and the 8 conductors are foil-shielded, with individual shielding for each pair of wires.
