PrintThe Mini X3GM is an ultra-compact, industrial-grade, unmanaged Gigabit media converter. It is an evolution of the X3SM, but with increased throughput up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet). This model features a built-in optical module with a 131 nm Tx wavelength and is designed to work with a converter (or SFP module) with reverse-wavelength characteristics (1550 nm Tx).
Miniature form factor (70 mm x 38 mm x 24 mm). Universal DC 5-12V power supply. Universal Gigabit RJ-45 port.
The media converter is equipped with an RJ-45 port (10/100/1000Base-T) for connection over twisted pair cable. The port supports auto-negotiation of speed and duplex mode (Full/Half Duplex). Auto MDI/MDIX technology automatically detects the connected cable type (straight or crossover), simplifying installation. Cat5e and Cat6 cables are supported.
Using a high-performance chipset (Qualcomm 8334), the X3GM ensures stable data transmission while maintaining a compact size (70 x 38 x 24 mm). It is an ideal solution for installation in tight wiring boxes, CCTV camera housings, or crowded wiring closets.
Uses WDM (Bi-Di) technology, allowing data to be transmitted and received over a single fiber.

A critical advantage of the Mini series is its wide input voltage range. The device can be powered from either the included 5V power supply or 12V sources (such as uninterruptible power supplies for video surveillance systems), significantly simplifying installation.
