The black optical patch panel for 24 ports ST or FC FOP series is designed to organize spliced ​​connections of single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber, as well as to protect the spliced ​​connection from mechanical impacts. Often, the optical cable is connected to a pigtail, the connector of which is connected to the ST or FC adapter, but through splicing is also possible, when part of the FO fibers is output to the front side of the panel, and the other part is welded further to the next switching point. The FO panel is made for server cabinets and racks 19″ wide, mounting height 1U. The reduced depth of the case of 223 mm allows to avoid significant bending of the fiber-optic cable when installing in a cabinet with a small depth, thereby preventing signal attenuation when testing with a reflectometer or optical power meter.
