The black optical patch panel for 24 ports SC Simplex or LC Duplex of the FOPE series is designed for organizing welded connections of single-mode (SingleMode) or multimode (MultiMode) optical fiber, as well as to protect the welded connection from mechanical influences. Often, an optical cable is connected to a pigtail, the connector of which is connected to an SC or LC adapter, but pass-through welding is also possible, when part of the VO fibers is brought out to the front part of the panel, and the other part is welded further to the next switching point. 24 SC Simplex adapters mean the ability to connect 24 fibers with an SC connector, and 24 LC Duplex adapters mean the ability to connect 48 fibers with an LC connector. These types of adapters can be combined by combining different connectors and types of optical fiber. The VO panel is made for server cabinets and racks with a width of 19″, mounting height 1U.

The improved design of the interchangeable elements of the FOPE series patch panel allows you to combine PG 11 and PG 13.5 cable glands with foam rubber glands for patch cords, cable organizers and honeycomb type holders for fixing large amounts of cable on plastic ties. 30° PG bushings avoid significant bending of the fiber optic cable when installed in a shallow cabinet, thereby preventing signal attenuation when tested with an OTDR or optical power meter.

The ODF panel CMS for 24 adapters is made of 1 mm steel, which allows it to withstand the load of supplied optical cables without deformation in 19-inch guides. The body is painted with black powder paint to protect it from corrosion, which allows the manufacturer to provide an extended warranty on the product. On the base there is a universal mount for a splice cassette for 12 or 24 welds. The optical patch panel can accommodate up to four cassettes of 24 fibers, which corresponds to 96 splices. It is possible to adjust the installation depth of SC simplex and LC duplex fiber optic adapters in three positions. To access the splice cassette, pigtails and adapters, you do not need to remove the VO panel from the guides; just snap off two plastic fasteners and remove its base at an angle of 30°, which allows you to inspect or enlarge welded joints without disconnecting the optical patch cords and dismantling the panel. Thanks to the removable side guides, the installation depth of the ODF patch panel can be adjusted relative to the vertical guides (racks) by moving it out or hiding it behind them in a range of five centimeters. If the racks are installed too close to the door of the server cabinet and the optical patch cords rest against it, you can slide the panel into the back of the cabinet, thereby preventing the patch cords from getting stuck. The patch panel is universal and is designed for installation of SM (single-mode) and MM (multi-mode) adapters.
