Optical fiber visual locator, 10 mW, 650nm, 10 km, SC/FC/ST 2.5mm
Description
Compact source of visible red light (650 nm) radiation, VFL - (Visual Fault Locator). Used for testing the integrity of optical lines and identifying fibers in a cable at a distance of up to 10 km. Used to detect defects in patch cords, cracks and critical fiber bends. couplings, optical boxes, etc. It operates in continuous "glow" mode or in pulsed "blinking" mode.
To test lines with ports for LC (1.25mm), use a hybrid optical connecting patch cord.
Characteristics:
- Red laser (wavelength 650 nm).
- Operating mode: pulse and constant
- The metal case is protected from environmental influences.
- Universal connector with 2.5 mm ferrule for FC/SC/ST connectors.
- Dynamic distance 10~12km
- Power source: two standard AA batteries (not included in the package)
