The shielded module Corning STP cat 6A LANscape for computer sockets and patch panels is used when connecting a twisted pair with a shield to an RJ-45 form factor connector. The twisted pair is connected according to the T568A or T568B color schemes. On the front side there is an 8-pin connector for connecting a connector from a patch cord. On the back side there is an IDC connector (insulation displacement contact - installation with insulation cutting) into which 8 twisted pair wires are fed and clamped between the copper tapering blades of the module using a plastic clamping insert, into which the wires are laid in advance according to the color pinout. After connecting the cable, the FutureCom S500 module is installed in a plastic or metal frame of a socket or patch panel with a LANscape mount. The RJ-45 Category 6A module is designed for transmission speeds up to 10 Gbps (10GbE) and is suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE). The metal case supports the ability to connect a shielded cable.
