protection for increased mechanical strength.
Design
In contrast to the closure series GSC the sleeves of the closures
SCX and SCX C are not reinforced.
The sleeve of these closures is made of one PE layer. The inner
side of the sleeve is coated with hotmelt adhesive which
guarantees a watertight and secure bonding to plastic and
metal-sheathed cables. A temperature-sensitive paint on the
sleeve indicates that sufficient heat has been applied to the
sleeve. The closure kit consists of the heat-shrinkable sleeve
with closing channel, a protective liner or a canister, a shield
connection lead and installation accessories.
