The gray U/FTP Cat 6A patch cord is designed for connecting RJ-45 ports in patch panels, network outlets, servers, switches, Wi-Fi routers, and PCs. It is an integral part of a structured cabling system (SCS). It consists of a cable with 8 copper conductors (28 AWG) and two RJ-45 connectors. The twisted-pair jacket and connector protective cap are made of PVC, and the 8 conductors are foil-shielded, with individual shielding for each pair of wires.
