Household plug 16A angled white
Household electrical plugs are designed for connecting electrical equipment and devices to low voltage sources in various areas of human activity. They are used to connect household electrical appliances with a voltage of 220 V and a rated current of up to 16 A to the network. There are a number of requirements that apply to the plugs: - they must provide reliable contact at the permissible amount of electric current. Poor contact will lead to loss of energy, heating of the connector, which can result in accelerated wear and even fire; - live parts must be well insulated from each other. They must provide protection against contact with parts that conduct current by foreign objects, primarily fingers. In this case, insulation must be maintained both when the plug is disconnected and in case of incorrect connection (for example, if the plug is not fully inserted into the socket); - electric plugs must be made of non-flammable materials.
