PrintThe Keystone KS250U connector is an easy-to-assemble RJ45 connector for all applications without the need for special tools. The universal KS250U supports both LAN and data center applications with maximum performance and is therefore suitable for all current applications such as 1GBase-T. The three-way cable entry and standard Keystone dimensions support compact installation, for example in a shallow-depth surface-mount box as well as in a 48-port patch panel in only 1U. The integrated self-closing dust cover prevents dirt from getting on the contact surfaces at any time. The connector is backward compatible and supports RJ11/RJ12 connectors. The IDC design allows only one jack to accommodate 4-pair solid AWG 22-24 conductors or stranded AWG26/27 conductors for T568A or T568B. Strain relief is provided by the socket housing bracket or optionally by an additional clamp using a cable tie.

The jack complies with ISO/IEC Cat.6 component specifications and supports 4PPoE according to IEEE 802.3bt.
