Optical patch cord LC-LC Duplex is used for switching patch panels (ODF), boxes and subscriber sockets with active network equipment, such as: media converters, switches and switches connected via SFP modules. Single-mode (Single Mode) SM fiber (E9/125) is used to manufacture the patch cord. The LC connector is traditionally used in optical transceivers (SFP transceivers), some network equipment, and also in distribution panels where a high density of optical ports is required. LC connectors are a compact version of SC connectors. It also has a rectangular cross-section of the case. The connector is made of plastic and has a latch-lock, the ceramic core has a diameter of 1.25 mm, , but the SC ceramic core has a diameter of 2.50 mm.
