FTTH (Fiber to the Home) - "drop cable" is a flat optical subscriber cable, it is used in FTTH networks for laying both indoors and for pulling between buildings and poles. It is also called the "last mile" or "fiber to the home" cable. Drop cable, sometimes called a "bow tie" because of its bow-tie or bow-type shape.
