FC adapter (simplex). The adapter body is made of metal. The adapter is attached to the patch panel using a nut. Optical adapters (sockets) are designed to connect or connect connectors installed on optical patch cords and installation cords. They are used in patch panels of optical crosses, active equipment and measuring devices. Adapters of types FC, SC, ST, LC are always pass-through (i.e. connectors are connected to them from both sides) and also serve for precision centering of connector tips. The tips are centered in special bushings.
